Elaine Venna Hofman

Elaine Venna Hofman Pocatello- Elaine Venna Hofman passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007.

During her 69 years,Elaine had many wonderful opportunities to participate in politics, in music, in travel, and in the things of the world, but she always said that the real highlights of her life were the times she spent with her family, her spouse, her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and all those who lived in her home and whom she claimed as her own. Elaine is well known for her love of music and her ability to sing, and although she participated in many city and university musicals and operas, once again the highlights of her musical career were the times she was able to sing for family and friends at funerals and on other special occasions.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Cornelius Hofman, her four children and their spouses, Cathie and Craig Clarke, John and Kathleen Hofman, Casie and David Jensen, Cory and Stacey Hofman, two more who she calls her children and their spouses, Bryan and Tamara Zaccardi, John and Kathryn Friese, twenty-eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. We are pretty sure Elaine Venna Hofman was the most beautiful woman to ever walk the planet earth.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Caldwell Park 2nd Ward Chapel, with President William Godfrey, Pocatello East Stake, officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
