Verla Mae Adams

Verla M. Adams passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in Pocatello, Idaho.  She was born August 6, 1926 in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Glenn and Alice Hobbs.  On March 29, 1947 she married Paul Adams in Salmon, Idaho. Paul and Verla were married for over 70 years. They were a close and loving couple and were able to have a wonderful life together.

Paul and Verla lived in Pocatello, Salmon, and Boise, Idaho. Verla was a fastidious bookkeeper.  She worked for the Bannock County Assessor and the State Tax Commission. Verla  was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many secretary positions. She was an avid reader of fiction and nonfiction.

Paul and Verla spent happy times at their cabin in Palisades enjoying their family and the beautiful surroundings.  They would spend theirwinters in Quartzsite, Arizona. They enjoyed making and keeping friends wherever they were.

Verla is survived by 2 sons, Glenn (Connie) and Roger (Sheila), one daughter, Carolyn, her twobrothers, Jim (Pat) and Dale (Ginger), and daughters-in-law Ann and Noreen and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death byher loving husband, Paul, her parents and 2 sons, David and Ronald.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 26, at 1:00pm at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.  Mom will be missed but we know she is happy with her family on the other side of the veil. We love you mom! Until we meet again.
