Vearl D. "Bud" Ingram Pocatello - Vearl Dean "Bud" Ingram, 83, longtime Pocatello resident, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at his home following an extended illness. He was born May 30, 1923 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho a son of Hyrum Edward and Naoma Rosaline Johns Ingram. He attended schools in Tyhee, Irving Jr. High and Pocatello High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps before graduating and served in the South Pacific during World War II. He received an Honorary Graduation Diploma from Pocatello High School several years ago. In 1947 he married Gena Clinton, in Seattle, Washington and they had two sons, Tom and Edward. They later divorced. On December 19, 1953 he married Doris J. Moser, in Elko, Nevada. She passed away July 18, 1993. "Bud" was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the Pocatello Carpenters Union and Central Labor Union where he had served as president. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. His interests included, hunting, fishing, camping and being out of doors. He also enjoyed stock car racing. He liked building things and remodeled and added on to his home to accomadate his family and friends. He was a master at his trade. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Survivors include: a son, Harold Edward Ritchie Ingram, Bainbridge Island, Washington; 2 daughters, Jinny (Mic) Jones and Sandra (James) Bishoff, both of Pocatello; 2 sisters, Myrle Roeder and Ruby Robinson, both of Pocatello. 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Doris, a son, Tom, a brother, Max Ingram and a sister, Utheria. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. with Kenny Jones, officiating. Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot, Idaho with Military Rites provided by the Blackfoot American Legion "Stewart Hoover" Post 23. The family will recieve friends on Thursday one hour prior to services. Funeral services are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
