Una Arlene Bullock (91) long time resident of McCammon passed away at Portneuf Medical Center on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Una was born on January 20, 1930 in Robin, Idaho to Henry Elmer and Ida Vietta McClurg Crump. She was the fifth child in the family of nine children. She attended school in McCammon, achieved her GED certificate, and attended the Institute of Culinary Arts program at ISU.
Una married Lynn Bullock August 18th, 1947. They moved into a home on the Bullock family farm. The family grew with children Ivan, Jennie, Stephen, Charlie, Michael, and Jon. A great loss was little Stephen who passed away when he was 2 years old. It was her only move in 73 years. She was very content to be there.
Una went to work at Rand’s Café in Arimo, first waiting on tables and then became a cook. She later worked at the Coverleaf Café in McCammon eventually leasing the café until it was sold out to Flying J. She then became Assistant Manager at Flying J. Her last employment before retiring was Operating Manager for Intermountain Self Storage. She met and worked with many employees that she grew fond of as well as many of the customers and McCammon residents.
Una enjoyed cooking and looked forward to family gatherings. She was an avid reader. She wrote poems, some her private thoughts, other poems she wrote for someone’s special occasion or funeral. She enjoyed working on her yard and garden areas until she had beautiful flower beds and vegetables she would share.
She is preceded in death her parents Elmer and Vietta Crump, son Stephen Jay, (brothers and sisters) John Glen (Johnny) Jones, Gracie Jones Derricott, Kenneth Crump, Amelia (Millie) Barnett, Lynn Crump, Reed Crump, Norman Crump and Nona Hill. Una is survived by her sons and wives Ivan (Jeri), Charlie (Penny), Michael (Susan), and Jon (Shanda). Daughter Jennie (Gary), 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday December 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the McCammon LDS Stake Chapel with Bishop Ryan Cupp Marsh Creek Ward officiating. Burial will be at the Norton Cemetery following the service.
