Chubbuck - Sheila Lee Day, 44, of Chubbuck, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008 at her home with her husband, children and loving family by her side. She was born March 10, 1964 in Flagstaff, Arizona, a daughter of Michael E. Kuretich and Margaret Butterfield. She was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.

At the age of 16, she moved to Pocatello where she met her soulmate and love of her life, Robert E. Day. They were married May 9, 1984 in Elko, Nevada. Together they had two boys Daniel Lee Day and Shawn Eugene Day who she enjoyed and loved so much. There was never a dull moment with Sheila. She loved to make everyone laugh and was constantly playing a prank or joke on someone. Sheila was very ambitious and creative. She loved crafts and interior decorating. She loved being outdoors and in the mountains. Her greatest enjoyment was seeing her family happy together. She died fighting multiple sclerosis (MS), the hardest battle she ever fought.

Survivors include: her husband, Robert Day, Chubbuck; father, Michael Kuretich, Sandy, Utah; mother and step-father, Margaret and Charles Featherston, Chubbuck, Idaho; two sons, Daniel Day and Shawn Day, both of Chubbuck, Idaho; brothers, Mike (Shelly) Kuretich, Sandy, Utah; Randy Kuretich, Sandy, Utah; a sister, Michelle (Craig) Dyches, Midvale, Utah; half sister, Ashley Rivera, Midvale, Utah. She was preceded in death by her Uncle Ray Butterfield, Aunt Helen Klein, cousin, Linda Elderage, father and mother in-law, Max and LaRae Day.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. with her nephew, Randy Mower, officiating. The family will receive friends this evening Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel and Wednesday for one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Mountainview Cemetery.
