Sharon Driggs Hall
PHOENIX, Ariz. - Sharon Driggs Hall, 71, passed away in Phoenix, Ariz., on Dec. 22, 2007, after a lingering illness.
She was born in Phoenix, Ariz., on March 31, 1936, to Junius E. Driggs and Bernice Crouse. She attended schools in Phoenix, Ariz., and graduated from Mesa Community College.
She met and fell in love with Dave Hall while he was in the Navy at Litchfield Naval Air Station in Arizona. They were married on June 8, 1953, in Phoenix, Ariz., and were later sealed in the Hawaiian Temple on Jan 12, 1955. They lived in Scottsdale and Mesa, Ariz., for 25 years. In 1983 they moved to Inkom where they built a home at 1197 E. Jackson Creek Road. Sharon was a fun-loving, happy person who enjoyed life and the outdoors. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed gardening and raising raspberries, which she shared with family and friends. She was an expert seamstress, master quilter, fabulous artist and professional photographer. She loved the time she spent with her many friends at the quilt club, and she looked forward to her annual hikes with her special friends on trails throughout the country.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in the Primary, Young Women and recently in the Stake Relief Society Presidency.
She is survived by her husband, Dave of Inkom and four children, Curtis (Sue) Hall, Chubbuck, Debbie (Don) Buehler, Malad, Janice (Bryson) Cook, Manchester, N.H.; and Reed (Rena) Hall, Mesa, Ariz., 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; three brothers. Don (MaryLyn) Driggs; Greer, Ariz.: Stephen (Sheila) Driggs, Mesa, Ariz.; Michael (Geri) Driggs, Sandy, Utah; and one sister, Deanna (Herb) Kasold, Pioche, Nev.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Inkom LDS Church with Bishop Kirk Grover of the Skyline Ward conducting. The family will receive friends Friday evening, Dec. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Inkom Church and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday morning prior to the service. Interment will be in the Inkom City Cemetery.
