Sharon Marlene Bell

Pocatello - Sharon Marlene Bell, 63, of Chubbuck, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at a local rehab and care center following a recent diagnose of cancer, with her loving family at her side.

She was born November 15, 1947 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, a daughter of Byron Emerson and Betty Lourainia Smith Neff. In her youth, she attended schools in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1965. She helped raise her younger siblings. In 1965, she married Robert Craig Carter in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They later divorced. On June 19, 1970, she married Philip Blair Morrison, in Council Bluffs. Iowa. They also divorced. In 1985, she married Buster Dean (Bud) Bell. He passed away in July 2004.

Sharon was a convert to the L.D.S. Church in the early 1970's and had served as a teacher in Primary. She was a very strong willed person and accomplished everything she set out to do. She enjoyed music and dancing. She was always a very joyful and happy person and would have you laughing at something in a short time after meeting her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Tony Lee Carter, Palm Springs, California; Terry Blair (Sonia) Morrison, Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Tonia Louise (Christopher) Mosher, Phoenix, Arizona; 4 brothers, Raymond S. (Sue) Neff, Jack Darrell (Pauli) Neff, Dale Wayne Neff, all of Council Bluffs, Iowa; David Deloy Neff, Phoenix, Arizona; 3 sisters, Cynthia Belt, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Bethany Swann, Iowa City, Iowa; Edith May (Rick) Manis, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, Byron Emerson Neff Jr., Joseph James Neff and an infant son, Robert Craig Carter Jr..

Memorial funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pocatello 9th Ward Chapel (corner of Hawthorne and W. Quinn Rd) with Bishop Brian Cheney, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. .
