Selvy "Tro" Louis Trujillo

Most commonly known as Tro to friends and "Nunu" by family members, was called to his rest on Saturday April 27, 2024.  He was 89.

He was born in Salida, Colorado to Selvy Trujillo Sr. and Alvina Trujillo.  They moved to Jerome, Idaho when he was in the 8th grade and graduated from Jerome High.  He participated in football and boxing and won Championship titles for his weight in 6 different states, he was offered an athletic scholarship to Idaho State University and moved to Pocatello where he met the love of his life Dawna June Roe. He owned and operated Tros Bernina and Lindsay water conditioning and also owned Carousel Cars and ran it with his son Tory until retirement.

Tro was a proud Bengal Booster and member of F.A.T. and their fundraisers. Pocatello Civitan as president and Governor.

Tro, Selvy, Nunu absolutely loved his family, friends and spending time with them all. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dawna June in February of this year.  Also, by his father, mother and sisters.

He is survived by his children Tony Trujillo, Pocatello Id, Terry Trujillo (Linda) Mackay, Id, Kimberly Hunter (Herb) Caldwell, Id , Tory Trujillo (Karen) Parker Colorado.  His brother Bill and his grandchildren, Lauren, Karlie, Jessie, Douglas, Carig and AJ.. 

He knew no strangers.  

We will miss him very much!!!
