The early morning of March 2, 2018 Scott Brian Lagos died from incidence of a massive stroke. He was 53 years old.
Scott was born on Dec. 5, 1964, the only child of James J. Lagos and Amy K. Sparks Lagos, both of Pocatello. Scott was a bachelor. He was also a night-owl and an avid reader. His preference included thrillers and suspense novels.
Scott attended school in Pocatello except for a few years in Moscow and Boise. He graduated from Pocatello High School. He completed cooking, upholstery and welding classes at Idaho State Vocational Program.
Yearly trips to Las Vegas was Scott’s favorite place to travel. He liked the sharp edged comedians and the staged live concerts. He was thrilled when Paul McCartney singled him out of the audience at “The Paul McCartney Concert” and chatted with him for a few moments about life and his music.
Scott was a unique individual who lived his life the way he wanted. His one focus was always music. He loved vintage music and Rock ‘n Roll. He also enjoyed watching old T.V. sitcoms. Scott had an eccentric sense of humor. He could make people laugh so hard with his original one liners. He could dish it out, but he could also take it.
As Scott grew older, his life became more solitary. He was a loner. However, he still attended the ISU games and events. Scott was also a Bengal Booster. Scott usually had a hearty appetite and loved to eat in different restaurants. He was especially elated if he had company who was going to pick up the tab.
Scott was a member of the Elks and the Masons.
Scott is survived by his father, James, his mother Amy Martsch, of Blackfoot and his grandparents, James and Mary Lagos of Pocatello.
According to his wishes, Scott was cremated. A private service will be held at a later date.
Soar high and rest in peace…
