Sandra J. Carpentier

Sandra (Sandi) Jean Carpentier passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on July 22, 2024.

Born in Yankton, SD December 13, 1961, she spent the next few years growing up on the family farm in Nebraska. In 1963, her family moved to Pocatello, ID. Sandi grew up there and graduated from Highland High School. She went on to receive an Associate's Degree in Medical Transcription at Idaho State University and started her career at a local medical clinic and was truly loved by all her fellow employees and customers.

Sandi got married in 1987 to Kelly Carpentier. Shortly after and having moved to Boise, ID, her mother, Marilyn, passed away in Pocatello. A tew years later in 1992, they adopted their daughter, Kendra. Sandi enjoyed being highly involved in her church, community, and her daughter's school. She always was upbeat, kind, loving, had an infectious laugh and was incredibly strong

In 2006 after her divorce, she moved to Meridian, Idaho. Her daughter kept her busy with numerous school and sporting activities and events, of which Sandi never missed one. She supported her daughter through many life milestones, including being able to see her daughter's wedding, giving Sandi her son-in-law, Ryan.

Sandi is survived by her father Dan and his wife Doris, her daughter Kendra and her husband Ryan, and many extended family and incredible friends. The family would like to thank the incredible care of the staff at St. Luke's, as well as the support of Accent Funeral Homes and Holy Apostles Catholic Church.
