Rebecca Ann McGonigal Leyvas Roldan was a beautiful and kind soul. Her smile lit up the room, and she always had a kind word to offer.
She loved the outdoors, sleeping under the stars, and being warmed by the campfire. She was an artist and passed her talent on to her children. She sang and danced with her children to remind them to enjoy life, even when it was hard.
She attended Idaho State University, and she graduated with a cosmetology degree. She enjoyed making people happy by doing their nails, makeup, and hair. She worked in the service industry her entire life before becoming disabled and retired.
Soon after retirement, she met and fell in love with a little puppy named, Dixie. Dixie became her loyal companion, protector, and friend throughout the years. Ann’s faith in the Lord was strong and unshakable. Her children take comfort in knowing that she is in His loving arms now.
She is preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Ray Ann Dusenbery; her only sister, Susan McGonigal Carter; mother, Rebecca Sine McGonigal; father; and four of her nine brothers.
She is survived by her oldest daughter, Christina Ann Leyvas; sons, Jesus Maria Leyvas Jr. and Jerome Daniel Leyvas; stepchildren, Mickey Joe Dusenbery and Adeline Elmer. She had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.
