Margaret Pril Chandler Hale was born on 01 April 1931 in Inkom, Idaho. She was the ninth child of James Victor Chandler and Agnes LuVera Davids.
She grew up in Inkom where she later met and married Robert Franklin Hale on the 12 August 1950. They started their married life in Inkom, until Bob went to work for FMC at which time they moved to Pocatello and lived in the Portneuf Park area later moving to their current home on Brennan Avenue.
They were blessed with six children, Mona Hale, Victor (Shauna) Hale, Dusty (deceased) Hale, Kristi (Craig) Gould, Cindy (Steven) Avery, and Brent (Bobbi) Hale. Pril was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pril enjoyed going camping when her kids were younger and she enjoyed crocheting blankets for the various grandkids and great-grandkids. Her life revolved around her family. She was a force to be reckoned with when it came to raising, nurturing, protecting and defending her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the anchoring force in the family.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in many capacities and auxiliaries. Her favorite calling in the church was with the scouting program.
In the last year of her life she accomplished a goal of hand making Christmas stockings for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She passed away on the 13 December 2016 surrounded by her family, going home to be reunited with Bob, who preceded her in death in December 1992 and Dusty who died in December 2011.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at the LDS Chapel (550 W. Cedar). The family will meet with friends on Monday from 10:30-11:45am at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Inkom cemetery.
