Phyllis Eloise Ogle Pocatello - Phyllis Eloise Ogle, 96, longtime resident of Pocatello, passed away early Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at a local care center of causes incident to age. She was born December 18, 1910 in Rock Springs, Wyoming a daughter of Leo and Carrie Heikes Johnson. When she was a small child her family moved to Spencer, Idaho. She attended schools in the Spencer area and then her family moved to Boise, Idaho in 1928 where she graduated from high school. On August 31, 1929 she married Walter "Bus" Ogle in Mountain Home. They moved to Pocatello in about 1942. Walter passed away November 7, 1983. She was an avid bowler and she and Walter bowled for many years in the bowling league's in Pocatello. She also enjoyed spending time in Island Park with friends and family. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. Survivors include: two sons, Ray (Ruth) Ogle, Pocatello; and David (Wilma) Ogle, Claremont, California. 5 grandchildren,Tanda (Joe) Pratt, Jenny Teresi, Allison (John) Rodriquez, Dean (Laura) Ogle and Trevor (Kristy) Ogle.and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant son Stephen, a grandson Jeffery, one sister and one brother. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday for one hour prior to services. Funeral services are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
