Norman Lee Severson passed away on February 12, 2022 at age 75. Norman was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Hyrum and Golda Severson on February 27, 1946.
He graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho as part of Highland’s first graduating class. He then worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years as a Brakeman and Conductor before retiring.
Norman was a long-time member of the Portneuf Muzzle Loaders, studied and embraced Native American culture, and enjoyed target shooting.
He is survived by his son Michael (Jill) of Boise, son Jeff (Rebecca) of Boise, daughter Kerrie of Boise, grandchildren Jack, Cole, Tommy, Matthew, Samantha, and Hannah, brother Ronald (Marolyn) of Montana, brother Dale (Nancy) of Boise, and sister Renae (Karl) of Nampa. He is preceded in death by his parents Hyrum and Golda, brother Lewis (Cammie), and sister Leah (Ellis).
In honor of his wishes, he will be laid to rest with his parents at Rose Hill cemetery in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
