Merlyne Wilson

MerLyne Vonberg Wilson Pocatello-MerLyne V. Wilson, 44, of Pocatello passed away May 12, 2007 at her home following an sudden illness. She was born Dec. 29, 1962, in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Merle John and Judy Hayes Vonberg. She attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School. She married Jerry Wilson in 1980 in Pocatello, Idaho. They later divorced. She enjoyed writing poetry. She also liked music, baking and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved animals and was a friend to everyone. She is survived by her father, Merle Vonberg, Churchville, New York; her mother, Judy Mathews, Boise, Idaho; two daughters, Brooke Wilson, Pocatello, Idaho; Jordan Siera Merrick, Chubbuck, Idaho; one sister, Susan Anderson, Chubbuck, Idaho; and a granddaughter Jasmine Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2007 at 12 Noon at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. with her Uncle Laurel Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
