Marjorie M. Kimbell Pocatello-Marjorie Marie Eiman Kimbell, 78, lifelong resident of Pocatello, passed away early Thursday, May 17, 2007, at a local assisted living center following an illness. She was born Aug. 20, 1928, in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Robert Andrew and Alice Marie Rhiel Eiman. She attended schools in Pocatello and was with the class of 1947 from Pocatello High School. In May of 1946, here in Pocatello, Marge met Ray at Deleta where a dance was held. Ray held her hand tight the whole dance, then took her home and asked her to marry him the next day. They were married Sept. 7, 1946 and was sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple, March 27, 1964. Marge and Ray belonged to a square dance group along with other friends and loved every minute of it. She enjoyed flower gardening, camping, fishing, waterskiing, in earlier days needlework and reading. She was along Ray's side as Ray and his son Craig built their cabin in Island Park. Marge and Ray loved spending time at the cabin, boating, and fishing together and being with their family. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Marge worked at Finer Cleaners while in high school and then later on after her children were old enough to be left home. She was a hard worker and enjoyed meeting and being around people. In 1961, Marge became a member of the LDS Church. She served in a lot of various positions, yet she loved the Relief Society and held the position as President. She was proceded in death by her husband, Ray O. Kimbell; oldest son, Darell R. Kimbell; oldest grandson, Brett P. Kimbell; her parents; brother, James Eiman; She is survived by her son, Craig R. (Naomi) Kimbell, Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Terri (Steve) Stokes, Chubbuck, Idaho; 12 grandchildren, Brandon Kimbell, Bradley Kimbell, Bryan Kimbell, Bonnie Kimbell Michaelson, Christopher Stokes, Robert Kimbell, Melissa Stokes Horner, Barbara Kimbell Vaughn, Becky Kimbell FaJardo, Nichole Stokes Fenardez, Ricky Kimbell, Bethany Kimbell Griffin.One sister, Lorraine Kling. 10 great-grandchidlren and one on the way. Special thanks given to Darren West and Staff of Caring Hearts Assisted Living. They gave care and love to Mother for 9 months. Also Creekside Hospice, Star Stone and Staff. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, at 12:00 Noon at the Highland LDS 11th Ward (2000 S. Fairway Dr.) with Bishop DeWayne Bywater officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, May 20, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. and Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.
