Madelon Ann Stanger-Hollifield

Madelon Ann Stanger-Hollifield was born to Colton Beard and Carmen Kay Stanger July 31, 1998. She passed away at home on February 18, 2014.

Maddie had an amazing spirit and light around her all the time. Anyone who knew her was enthralled with her love, kindness and enthusiasm for living life all the way. She never did anything half- assed. She always did everything full-bore and with an open throttle; hence her nickname "Turbo".

Maddie was beloved by any child she was around. She loved children and loved spending time with them. Maddie was very close to her big sisters. Maddie was very good friends with her Mama. They went everywhere together and did everything together; Partners in life.

The love of Maddie's life was her step-dad Joe Hollifield. They definitely fulfilled that father daughter relationship for one another. Maddie cherished every moment she spent with her dad.

Maddie's best friend and partner in crime was Megan Tracy. They never let distance separate them.

Maddie is survived by her mother Carmen Kay Stanger, her two older sisters Britney (Cody) Harding, Shelby Henery, her beloved stepfather Alfred Joe Hollifield, her grandparents Lynn and Sharon Stanger and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her baby brother John Weston.

Maddie will be greatly missed by all who have had the blessing of meeting and knowing her.

Memorial Services for Maddie will be held Saturday March 15th with the time and location to be announced.

A fund has been set up at KeyBank named Maddie's Fund or Stacy Humpherys for any contributions that you would like to make in her honor to help the family with expenses. Arrangements are under the care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
