Lillie Anne Findlay died in her sleep September 3rd 2016 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born June 12th 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joe and Kristie Wilcox Findlay. She is the fifth of six children. She moved to Pocatello when she was one month old and live here for the rest of her short life. Lillie attended Ellis Elementary School for two months of kindergarten. She moved and attended Jefferson Elementary School. She was an 8th grader at Irving Middle School.
Lillie loved basketball, soccer, volleyball, and softball. She was determined, tough, aggressive and always gave her all till the game was over. She was undeterred and never intimidated by the size of an opponent regardless of her small stature. Off the court or field, she was just as determined but even nicer than she was tough and aggressive on the field. Lillie loved people especially children. At family events, she would often be found playing with and entertaining the younger kids. They all adored Lillie.
She was met by her grandparents Merlin and Shirley Findlay , greatgrandparents are Arden and Betty Wilcox, Bernadine and Floyd Hansen, Grace and Arlo Orr, Joseph and Violet Findlay. She was also met by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins including Beverly Ann Wilcox, Nathan Wilcox, Michael Poletti and Henry Wilcox. She awaits the day she will be reunited with family including parents, Joe and Kristie Findlay, siblings Savannah, Christopher, Mandy, Steve and James, Grandparents Bonnie and Forrest Wilcox, many Aunts and Uncles and cousins. She also awaits numerous family that she has adopted and/ or have adopted her and many friends.
In lieu of flowers please donate to her burial fund or to seizure research. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10th 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the L.D.S. Gwen Ward Chapel, (1433 Gwen Drive) with Bishop Scott Lambson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening September 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. and on Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Aberdeen Cemetery.
