LeAnne Davis McCurdy Eller

LeAnne Davis McCurdy Eller, 61 of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away October 26, 2023 following a heart attack.  She was born July 4, 1962 in Pocatello, Idaho.  

The Daughter of Glynn Robert (Bob) and Bobby Davis.

LeAnne graduated from Pocatello High School.

While still young, she married Rodney McCurdy. Then was blessed with her greatest gift and her hero, her son, Casey Glynn McCurdy. This marriage ended in divorce.

After the divorce her and Casey moved to Boise, Idaho to start a new life together.  She loved living in Boise close to family members that she cared about so much.  After 7 years, Casey and LeAnne moved back to Pocatello to be with her mother who was diagnosed with cancer.  

LeAnne enjoyed socializing with anyone she came in contact with.  She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & cousin.

In 2006 a new member was added to her family.  Her daughter-in-law that always inspired her, Brittney Hill McCurdy.  Then another one of her greatest gifts was born.  Her favorite grandson, Trysten.  Then Baylee, Jayda, Blayke andd MyKell.  

LeAnne loved being a grandma. Always supporting them in baseball, basketball, football games, and dance recitals and competitions.   She loved bragging to everyone and anyone about her family and their accomplishments.  

On March 21, 2022 she married Russell Richards Eller in Elko, Nevado.  This was it for her. She had finally found the one that cherished her and loved her dearly.  LeAnne and Russ loved going on walks and long drives together.  LeAnne loved sharing her family with Russ. She loved spending time watching her grandkids with Russ.  

LeAnne worked in several places.  Simplot, a truck stop, America's Best, Deseret Industries, and working at an Adult and Child Development Center.  

She was dedicated to her L.D.S. faith holding many callings throughout her life.  

She is survived by her husband Russell Eller, her son Casey Glynn McCurdy (wife Brittney) 1 grandson, 4 granddaughters, 1 brother, 1 sister, 1 sister-in-law.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and many other extended family.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 5:30 pm at the LDS church on Hawthorne Rd. in Chubbuck, Idaho.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:30-5:30 prior to the funeral service.  

The family wishes to thank all the many friends and relatives who have helped out with the services, the 52nd Ward and Relief Society.  As well as all who cared for and loved LeAnne.  She will be truly missed.
