LaMont James Evans

On 18 March 2013, LaMont "Monte" James Evans, 45, passed away at his home in Idaho Falls. He was born August 25, 1967 to Terry and Charlotte Evans. He was the youngest of 3. When he was younger he enjoyed working on his uncle Dale's farm, and continued to do so for a few years after graduating from Highland High School in 1985.

He later moved to Idaho Falls where he worked for Melalueca and met his soon to be wife Jennifer Rockwood. They were later married in the Bahamas. They had a son Tyson who was the joy of their life. They all enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and staying at the Rockwood family cabin. They later divorced.

He loved spending time with Tyson and watching him play football. They also loved to watch football, their favorite team was the New Orleans Saints.

He was currently working for Northwest Cosmetics Lab in Idaho Falls as a compounder and supervisor, he loved all his coworkers.

He is survived by his son, Tyson, his parents, and his sister Lisa (Randy) Fernandez, and several nieces and nephews, he was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Lyn Evans, and grandparents Vernon and Mae Harris, and Jim and Dora Evans.

Friends and family will meet at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel (510 N. 12th Ave.) Thursday March 21, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. Friday March 22, 2013 there will be a graveside service at the Arimo Cemetery in Arimo, Idaho.

The employees of Northwest Cosmetics have set up an account in Tyson's name at the Bank of Idaho, in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to this account.
