Kenny Allen Hunsaker

Kenny Allen Hunsaker, age 36, passed away on July 23, 2024, at Pocatello, Idaho. He was born on a below zero night in Soda Springs, Idaho on January 31, 1988. Anxious to get in this mortal existence he came fast, 2 weeks early, the doctor didn’t even make it for his arrival. 

He grew up in Soda Springs, Idaho enjoying the great outdoor activities, playing sports, hunting, fishing, snow machining, team roping and calf roping. He graduated from Soda Springs High School in 2006.

He moved to Pocatello, Idaho and married Angie Hansen. They were blessed with a son, Rhett Hunsaker and later divorced. He married Julie Moffitt in 2010 and they were blessed with a daughter, Kenlie Jo Hunsaker. He went to work for Simplot in 2007 where he was still employed at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Rhett and Kenlie all of Pocatello; brothers, Trent (Denika) Hunsaker, Pocatello and Dee (Bailee) Hunsaker, Clifton; nephews/nieces, Peyton, Jaxson and Carter Hunsaker, Kalan and Paizlee Nilsson, Emily Baker, Dallin, Carter and Lauren Mayes, and Gryffin Wood; parents, Russ and Melody Davis; In-laws, Lou and Carol Moffitt; Sister in laws, Christina (Ryan) Mayes, Diana (Brad) Manges; grandparents, Keith and Carolyn Hunsaker; aunts, Tamara Estes, Shae (Jeff) Clark; cousin’s, Blake (Sarah) Rodgers, Tara Rodgers, and Paislee Clark 

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hunsaker; grandparents, Bill and Dixie Estes; aunt, Tonya Hunsaker; cousins; Wyatt Rodgers and Laramie Lloyd. 

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 29th at the Satterfield Stake Center, 2140 Satterfield Drive, Pocatello, Idaho. Viewing will be Sunday, July 28th from 6p.m. to 8 p.m at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Home, 510 N. 12th Ave Pocatello, Idaho. Monday at 10 a.m. before the funeral. Graveside will be in Soda Springs, Idaho at 2:00 p.m.
