Karen Facer Rumsey Pocatello- Karen Facer Rumsey, 65, of Pocatello passed away Tuesday Nov. 4, 2008 at Portneuf Medical Center following an illness.

She was born April 22, 1943,in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Keith Wendell and Neva Mary Gleed Facer.

She attended schools in Pocatello. She married Dexter Crane in 1959. They later divorced. She married Gary Wattenbarger in 1962. They also divorced. She married Russell Rumsey on Nov. 15, 1979.

She liked crafts including tole painting, collecting antiques. She enjoyed cooking was an excellent cook. She liked yard work and gardening. She enjoyed waterskiing, riding dune buggy's when she was younger. She enjoyed the outdoors. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Rumsey, Pocatello; two sons, Glenn Ray (Alice) Crane, Mt. Home, Idaho; Dale (Lynda) Crane, Boise, Idaho; one step-son, Cody (Leslie) Rumsey, Idaho Falls, Idaho; one daughter, Keri Wattenbarger Johnston, Pocatello, Idaho; one step-daughter, Kimra Orger, Idaho Falls, Idaho; three brothers, Norman (Norma) Facer, Anchorage, Alaska; Dennis Jack (Patty) Facer, Onyx, Idaho; Rick (Margaret) Facer, Pocatello, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, O'dell Facer, Jerry Lee Facer, M. Sgt. Retired.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Alameda L.D.S. Stake Center (930 East Alameda Road) with Bishop Clint Bohney, Alameda 6th Ward officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. and on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Malad Cemetery, Malad City, Idaho. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
