Julie Ann Judd
Salt Lake City, Utah - Julie Ann Judd, 61, formerly of Pocatello, passed away late Friday, February 19, 2010 at a hospital in Salt Lake City, following an extended illness. She was born April 19, 1948 in Pocatello, Idaho, a daughter of Arthur C. and Dona Dalton Judd.
She graduated from Pocatello High School and the Idaho State Vocational and Technical College. She was known for her beautiful singing voice and kind heart. Her closest associates called her "Happy Julie". She was a member of the L.D.S. Church and had served in the Relief Society in the Woodland Park Branch in Salt Lake City. After graduation, she volunteered as a Candy Striper at the Bannock Memorial Hospital and was always looking for someone to help and serve. She was also a member of the Comeratta Singers of Pocatello. She liked word puzzles and jig-saw puzzles.
She courageously endured a life of illness and had a body that attacked her health. As a result ,she was very compassionate and aware of the needs of others. She very much loved her family and she will be truly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by 2 brothers, Don A.(Elaine) Judd, Murray, Utah; Ted D. Judd, Boise, Idaho; a sister, Terri K. Judd, Draper, Utah; and many neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 12 noon at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. with Bishop Christopher Owens of the Pocatello 6th Ward officiating. Interment will be in Mountainview Cemetery. The family will meet with friends on Saturday from 11:30 to time of services.
