Pocatello- Joyce Rae Darner, 75, passed away, Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Portneuf Medical Center.

She was born December 15, 1935 in Pocatello the daughter of John Evans and Ruth Edna Lusk Noble.

She attended Washington Elementary, Franklin Junior High and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1953. She married Maurice "Moe" J. Darner on July 23, 1958 in Elko, Nevada. He passed away May 27, 1992 in Pocatello, Idaho.

She worked at Fred & Kelly's Drive Inn, Fred's Cafe,managed the Deli at Okay's Food Towne until she retired. She enjoyed gardening, reading, puzzles and playing cards. She belonged to several book clubs. She also liked to embroider, cross stitch,and needle point. She greatly loved her nieces, nephews and grandchildren, & her dog Peaches. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church.

She is survived by one brother, John Laren (Gloria) Noble, Pocatello; one sister, Lael Kaye Noble, Pocatello; grandchildren, Brett Darner, Teresa Waldron, Denice Hall, Marco Darner. great grandchildren, Daniell Buck, Rachel Darner, Brandon Hall, Lataya Hall. great great grandchildren, Mykel Buck, Aubrey Buck. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, Jared Darner.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. Interment will be in the Mountainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
