Joseph "Joe" Roy Barber

Joseph “Joe” Roy Barber, 70, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Boise, Idaho. He was born July 9, 1946 in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the son of Roy Arnold and Mary Alice May Barber.

When Joe was three years old, the family moved to Pocatello in 1949. Joe attended elementary schools in Pocatello and then Highland High School graduating in 1964. Joe worked for several auto dealerships and operated an auto detail shop. He was a machinist in his later life. Joe had a love for cars and dogs. He has lived in Boise for the past 30 years.

He is survived by a son Michael J. (Katrina) Barber, Aztec, New Mexico; daughter, Molly Barber, Phoenix, Arizona; 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a Celebration of Life in Boise, Idaho, on November 25, 2016 at Joe’s residence. (452 S. Jolinda Ave. Boise, Idaho)
