John Lloyd Martin Spokane - John Lloyd Martin, 72, of Spokane Valley, Washington and formally of Pocatello, passed away April 18, 2007. He was born March 31, 1935 in Pocatello, Idaho, the son of Lloyd P. and Nellie M. (Christianson) Martin. John was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints in the Evergreen Ward. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Fletcher. John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol R. (Hofhine) Martin at the family home; three daughters, Becky L. Mulcahy, Ferndale, WA; Terri R. Powell, Salt Lake City, UT; Lisa K. Howard, Spokane, WA; four sons, Ric J. Martin, Cedar City, UT; Jim L. Martin, Hillsboro, TN; Kevin S. Martin, Windsor, CO; David Weathers, Greenacres, WA; forty grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Sherry D. Parsons and LeAnne Jahn; one brother, Steve Martin; four nieces. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Bowers officiating. A Graveside service will be held in Pocatello on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
