John R. Elias

John (Jack) Richard Elias Pocatello- Jack Elias, 64, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at his home following sudden illness.

He was born April 21, 1946 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of John and Elsie Elias. He married Diane Dinter in Cedar Rapids and they were later divorced but remained good friends.

He last worked for Ballard Medical in Pocatello and then Kimberly Clark in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jack enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together sometimes fixing them in the process. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, doing them in ink.

He is survived by his sitter, Peg Dvorak and her children, Julia Dvorak of Hiawatha, LA., Shawn and wife Deb Dvorak and their two children of Clermont, Fl. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dennis Dvorak.

Memorial services will be held in Cedar Rapids at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
