Everett, WA. - JoAnne Erma Moore, 71, of Everett, Washington, and formerly of Pocatello, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at her home in Everett, Washington.

She was born January 22, 1937 in Pocatello, Idaho, a daughter of Keith Brown and Emma Necoline Sundstrom Hansen.

She was raised on a cattle ranch and farm near Challis, Idaho. She attended schools and graduated from Challis High School.

On one of her trips to Pocatello, she met Wallace G. Moore Jr. and they were married July 5, 1956 in Pocatello. He passed away December 29, 1971. JoAnne lived in Pocatello from 1956 to 1971. Following her husbands passing, she moved back to Challis, where she lived until 1975. Then she moved to Washington State and resided in Everett for the last 20 years.

She was a member of the L.D.S. Church. She was employed in the laundry and linen industry for 40 years in Idaho and Washington. She liked to do crossword and jigsaw puzzles and also liked to read.

Survivors include: 4 sons, Charles (Teresa) Moore, Inkom, Idaho; Bret Moore, Everett, Washington; Michael (Melissa) Moore, Marysville, Washington; Patrick (Mila) Moore, Litchfield Park, Arizona; 3 brothers, Ronald K. (Ellen) Hansen, Challis, Idaho; Gary L. (Betty) Hansen, Keremeos, B.C.; Randy D. Hansen, Challis, Idaho; 4 sisters, Maxine (Carl J.) Kriley, Abbotsford, B.C.; Linda J. (Hans) Kohler, Osoyoos, B.C.; Dianna J. (Harry) Hall, Townsend, Montana; Gayle Y. (Michael) Ward, Pitt Meadows, B.C.. 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Inkom L.D.S. Church with Bishop Kirk Grover, of the Skyline Ward officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Mountainview Cemetery in Pocatello.
