Jeffrey Lee Alverson

Chehalis, WA. Jeffrey Lee Alverson a loving husband, father, and friend passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on November 10th, 2011, at the age of 46.

Jeff was born January 20th, 1965 in Olympia, Washington to Ray and Gloria Alverson, and was the youngest of four children. He attended Lacey High School, and went on to attend college at Idaho State University, where he graduated with a degree in business. There, he met Julie Ann Norton, the love and light of his life. They married in the fall of 1987, and their marriage was later sealed in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple on November 12th, 1994. They lived in various places in the early years of their marriage and eventually settled in Shelley, Idaho. Jeff is a very hard worker, and enjoys spending his time with his precious family. Jeff has a laugh that would make anyone smile, and a bright, vibrant personality that everyone loves. He loves the outdoors, and enjoyed many years in the forested mountains of Idaho with his family. Jeff was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held various positions within it. He will be greatly missed and we look forward to seeing him again.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Julie; his children, Brady, Jacob, Allee, and Oliver; his sister Tammy (Mike) Dayley; his brother David (Carmen) Alverson; his father Ray (Laura) Alverson. Jeff is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Alverson and his brother Rick Alverson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 2195 Jackson Hwy, Chehalis, WA, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to services. Graveside services will be held in Mountainview Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho, on Wednesday, November 16 2011 at 1:00 p.m.. Following the graveside services the family is having a luncheon at the LDS church on the corner of Chubbuck Rd. and Hawthorne Rd. in Chubbuck, Idaho. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
