Pocatello - Janet Kay Bloxham, 77, of Pocatello, passed away early Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Portneuf Medical Center following an illness.

She was born November 9, 1933 in Aberdeen, Idaho, a daughter of John Elmer and Roberta Mae Snow Jones.

She attended schools in Aberdeen. On March 15, 1952, she married Robert R. Bloxham in Pocatello. Robert passed away April 5, 2009.

Janet worked at Lamb-Weston in American Falls for many years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, riding ATV's and crocheting. She was a great cook. She also attended ISU Vo-Tech and learned the upholstery trade. She enjoyed traveling (mostly in the West) and went to Disneyland, Las Vegas, Mexico, SeaWorld, the Oregon Coast, Mt. Rushmore and many other places of interest. She also enjoyed traveling with her grandson Chris Phillips, to his arm wrestling tournaments. Janet was a member of the L.D.S. Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by three sons, John Bloxham, Arimo, Idaho; Robert (Mitzi) Bloxham, Pocatello, Idaho; Anthony (Colene) Bloxham, Chubbuck, Idaho; a daughter, Jetta Bloxham, Pocatello, Idaho; two sisters, Gloria Murillo, Pocatello, Idaho; Claudia Jones; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Michael, a son Rick, daughter Debra and granddaughter Christina.

Janet's family will be holding private services at a later date at the Aberdeen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave..
