Gerald K. Still

Gerald K. Still, 83, of Pocatello Idaho passed away on November 2nd 2019, peacefully in his home.

The funeral service will be held at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel at 2 in the afternoon. The viewing will be before at 1 o’clock. Following the service will be a lunch held at the Bru House Galilei for friends and family. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Manning- Wheatley Funeral Chapel.

He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on February 14th, 1936. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1954 and continued on to serve for his country in the United States Navy. Gerald is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several metals. He later served in the Philippines, where he met his wife Maria Still. Gerald was married to Maria Still on July 4th, 1976. Together they created a life full of love, laughter, and much happiness.

Gerald worked for Jr. Simplot for many years, where he later retired from. Throughout his years, he enjoyed showing cars and going on long rides on the weekend. He was always involved with his grandchildren and taught them many life lessons.

Gerald is survived by his wife Maria Still; his children, Sandy Madrid and spouse Lyle Murray, Bruce Still, Brenda Hansen, and Sandra Austin; his grandchildren; Corina Still, Chris Still, Mariah Griggs and spouse Zachary Griggs, Gabrielle Madrid, Bruce Still Jr., Brandon Still, and Brody Still;  and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday November 15, 2019 at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. A viewing will be 1 hour prior starting at 1pm.
