Faye Waldram Regan Wyant
Pocatello- In loving memory of Faye Waldram Regan Wyant, 86, who passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Portneuf Medical Center.
Faye was born September 30, 1922, the daughter of Albert and Mary Waldram. She was the youngest of three children. Albert (Bert) Waldram, Anna Waldram DeStwolinski, and Faye Waldram Regan Wyant.
She was raised in Pocatello and stayed here all of her life. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1942.
In 1942, Faye married a very wonderful man named William (Bill) Regan. They were blessed with three children. Ronald Regan, Marsha Regan, and Kathy Regan Lish. They made their home in Pocatello. They started their home at the Portneuf Park area and moved to live on East Chapel, where Faye lived there for 52 years.
Her husband Bill passed away on March 3, 1974. After four years, she married Joseph Wyant they were later divorced. Faye suffered a massive stroke in July of 1988 which took her right side and her speech. She did not let this overcome her as she was very independent, for many years she tried very hard to take care of herself. She has lived in this condition for twenty years, we all say "What a Woman Mom."
Faye wrote a epitaph that we should like to share with you.
I have thought a great deal in the past about the life I have lived. It has not been only an exciting adventure, it has been a repeat of even so many other lives, I am sure. I know I have made a lot of enemies on my way, but I also can say I have met a lot of wonderful people in all walks of life. I believe I can add the word friend to a few of them. I have always worked where people were involved. Some think they know me but I wonder if they really do. I made mistakes, if I could repeat I would not do again. I guess my dear Mother made a great impression on me. She always said never lie, face the truth even if it means punishment. As one lie starts a chain there has to be an end. I think the one person I have lied to is myself. I never wanted wealth, I have seen wealth and no happiness. I have seen more happiness in poverty. I use the word I to much but this is about me, so there is no other way to write it. My life was filled with three wonderful children. If their lives can be filled with happiness this is payment enough for me.
Faye was blessed with seven grand children, thirteen great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children,Ronald (Cheryl) Regan, Marsha Regan, and Kathy (Darrell) Lish. Her seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bert, and sister Anna, one grand daughter, Julie Lish Martinez.
