Las Vegas, Nevada - Fannie R. Green Palmer Mihlfeith, 97, longtime resident of Pocatello, and formerly of McCammon, passed away early Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from causes incident to age.

She was born November 29, 1912 in McCammon, Idaho, a daughter of Erban and Sarah Fairzina "Zina" Lish Green. She attended schools in McCammon.

On April 27, 1936, she married Elmer Alden "Sid" Palmer in Soda Springs. Sid passed away in 1954. She was sealed to Sid in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple in 1955. In July 1982, she married Glen Mihlfeith. He passed away in July 2000.

Fannie, worked at the General Hospital in Pocatello, then went to work with Sid at the National Laundry. After Sid's death and the laundry sold, she worked at Troy Parisian Laundry until she retired.

She then went on a full time mission to Tampa, Florida. She was always active in the L.D.S. Church and served in many positions in the Young Women, Relief Society, name extraction program, library and served in the Idaho Falls Temple. She served two Stake Missions. The one she liked most was the Spanish Mission.

In July 2000, she moved to Las Vegas to be with her daughter and son in-law Dorothy and Kenneth Shaddy and be nearer her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy (Kenneth) Shaddy, Las Vegas, NV.; Step-daughter, LaRae Hogue, Springfield, Oregon; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; a sister, Zina Jane Goodwin, South Jordan, Utah; 2 brothers, Farrell Green, Pocatello, Idaho; Maurice (Bernice) Green, Tulare, California;

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, one sister, Rosamond Green Henson, 3 brothers, Richard Green, LaMont Green, Lyndon Green, a granddaughter and a son-in law.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 17th at 11:30 a.m. at the Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot, Idaho. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave..
