Evelyn Edvina Minzghor, 87, a former longtime resident of Logan, Utah, late of Beaverton Oregon, died Wednesday evening, November 10, 2016 at the Brookdale Retirement Community in Beaverton.
Evelyn was born June 6, 1929 in Cass Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Matthew Nicholas Minzghor and Edvina Henrietta (Brown) Minzghor. She was raised and received her education in the Cass Lake community.
She was employed as a sales associate with J.C. Penny Department Store in Orem Utah, for many years, until she retired.
Evelyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Among her special interests she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Edvina Minzghor, her daughter, Pamela Guzman and three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law David and Jill Bell, of Hyde Park, Utah; her four daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Ernie Koch, of Hayward, California; Karen and John Rendon, of Portland, Oregon; Annette and John Dungan, of Hillsboro, Oregon and Diane Kummer, of Logan Utah, and three sisters Edith Kienholz, Elieene Barkley and Elaine Cunningham.
She is survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 19, 2016 at the LDS church located at 65 East and Center Street. Viewing will take place at 11am. The funeral at 12pm. Friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon immediately following the burial services at the Hyde Park Church.
