Evelyn Lucille Leyvas Moreland - Evelyn L. Leyvas, 56, of Moreland, Idaho passed away Oct. 23, 2007 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born to Lawrence and Ethel Kuhn on April 10, 1951 in Gooding, Idaho. She spent her school years in Pocatello. She then met the love of her life Jesse Leyvas in 1974. They married and stayed in Pocatello until moving to Blackfoot in 1983, settling in Moreland. She worked in retail sales where she made several very special friends. She has worked for Ross Dress for Less in Pocatello and Idaho Falls for the last year. She and her husband recently renewed their love for each other on Oct. 22, 2007. She enjoyed scrap booking, Knitting, Gardening, and collecting dolls. She most enjoyed spending time with her 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She is survived by her husband Jesse of Moreland, Idaho, Her Father Lawrence Kuhn of Tacoma, Washington; 4 sons Lee (Susan) Martin of Sebastian, Florida; Jesse Jr. (Kathy) of Pocatello, Idaho, Jerome Leyvas of Boise, Idaho and their miracle child Cody Leyvas of Moreland, Idaho; 3 daughters Misty Martin of Twin Falls, Idaho,Christina (Kevin) of Portland, Oregon, Quana Evans Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; 5 sisters Peggy (Scott) Noilnaeyer of Tacoma, Washington, Linda (Bill) Sanford of Gonzalez, California, Wanda (Wall) Lew of Blackfoot, Idaho, Nancy Stewart of Couerdelane, Idaho, Denise (Bobby) Allen of Mt. Vernon, Washington. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 27, 2007 at the L.D.S. church (42 Princeton Ave.) at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Robert W. Wray Jr. officiating. There will be a vigil service on Friday evening starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by a visitation until 8:30 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel 510 N. 12th Ave. There will also be a visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Church on Saturday. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
