Elaine Harris

Pocatello- Our Mother, Elaine Harris, returned home to her Heavenly Father on July 28, 2014.

She was born the daughter of Charlotte and Richard Mittlestedt on June 25, 1928. She was the youngest of three children, a brother, Richard "Bud" Mittlestedt and a sister, Dorothy Dallinga.

Elaine attended school in Arimo, Idaho. She married Gaylen Harris on September 27, 1947. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on September 27, 1961.

Elaine's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest blessings and joy.

Elaine is survived by her three children, Sheila Bronson, Georgetown,Idaho; Brenda (Alan) Myers, Pocatello, Idaho; Todd Harris, Spanish Fork, Utah; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Gaylen Harris, parents, and a brother, Richard "Bud" Mittlestedt.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday.

Interment will be in the Norton Cemetery, McCammon, Idaho.
