Pocatello- Dorothy Lee Marlatt, 81, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving husband and family.

She was born November 11, 1930 in Springfield, Illinois the daughter of James L. and Dorothy LaVern Lincoln Berry. She attended grade school to 8th grade in Twin Falls and then moved to Gooding and attended Gooding High School graduating in 1948.

She married the love of her life, Gerald Marlatt on December 29, 1948.

She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was a member of the Jobs Daughters. She enjoyed going to Yuma Arizona in the winters months. She loved spending time in Island Park with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Marlatt; two sons, Gary (Wendy) Marlatt, Pocatello; Berry (Donna) Marlatt, Pocatello; two daughters, Linda Marlatt (Robert) Sward, Pocatello; Cindy Marlatt Wellard (FiancAC.e, Robert Bach), Pocatello; son-In-Law Craig Wellard, Pocatello; 1 brother, Jim (Sherry) Berry, Eltoro, California; 1 sister, Janet ( Duane) Goicoechea, Victor, Montana; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughters, Amanda Wellard, Ashlee Wellard. Dorothy's family would like to express thanks to Creekside Hospice for their loving care of their wife, mother, and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Mountain view Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral chapel.
