Donna Myrle Thorne Tilley

Passed away Wednesday September 20th, 2017 at her daughter’s home in McCammon Id.

She was born November 4th, 1929 in American Falls, ID to Myrle John Thorne, and Isabella Clegg Thorne.  She graduated from Shoshone High School May 1948.

Mom married the true love of her life Ralph Lorenzo Tilley on June 7th 1948 in the Salt lake city Temple, and was blessed with 6 children.

Mom went back to school receiving her Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate in 1966.  She worked in the Operating room at St Anthony Hospital, and Pocatello Regional Medical Center.  She retired from the operating room at the age of 72, and finally retired at age 80 from Creek side Home Health.

Mom was very active in the LDS church, serving in many callings.  She was active in DUP, and LDSSA’S, and had many long time friends from each.

Their children are, Adrian (Kay deceased) Salt Lake City UT.  Lucretia (Charlie) Hall McCammn ID.  Dwight (Susan) Goshen ID.  Kenneth (deceased).  Lynn (Cheryl) Pensacola Florida.  Radona (Brad) Lloyd Meridian ID.  20 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.  Sister Evalyne McLean of Rockland ID, Brothers Maurice, and Myrlon Thorne of Oregon.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and a granddaughter Deena.

Funeral services will be Monday September 20th 2017, at the LDS Alameda 3rd ward Chapel (Jefferson & Walnut).  The family will receive guests at 11 am, services will start at noon.

We wish to thank Heritage Home Health Hospice for the loving care they gave to our mother.
