Demetria M. Cotton, better known as DeeDee, 49, passed away March 12, 2023. Deedee was born to Lillie Cotton in Pocatello, Idaho where she grew up with her sister, DeeAndra, better known as Aundy.
She attended Bonneville Elementary, Franklin Middle School, and later graduated from Pocatello High School in 1991. In 1992, she had her first child, Terrance, followed soon after with, Ashley in 1994. In 1995, she gave birth to a set of twins, and in 1996, she had her last child, Octavia.
DeeDee, enjoyed working. She really excelled in her manager position at McDonalds where she worked for 13 years. During her work at McDonalds. She got the opportunity to work at ISU. She loved summer nights and driving her mom around, loud music and good food, and she had major R.B.F., but always had a smile.
She is survived by her son, Terrance Cotton; daughters, Ashley Cotton, and Octavia Cotton; grandchildren, Ayva Whittaker, Adonis Whittaker, Scarlett Hook, and Aariah Valenty; sister, DeeAndra Cotton; and 2 nieces, Kanesha Cotton, and Kiara Villafranco; numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Cotton; twin boys Michael, and Matthew Cotton; her grandma, Norma; and 2 uncles; and aunt Nana.
DeeDee’s services will be held, Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Bonneville Community Center on 6 street in room 3. Please wear red or black. They were her favorite colors. There will be a potluck following the service. Please bring a dish to share.
