Dawna June Trujillo

Dawna June Trujillo, affectionately referred to as “Nani” by those closest to her, was called to her rest on the 2nd of February 2024, in Pocatello, Idaho at the age of 83.

Born on May 16, 1940 in Pocatello, ID to Laura Wilda and John Quincy Roe. She lived her life with grace and an open heart, along with the virtues of giving and sharing. Something she learned from her own dear Mother, was doing so without measure.

She was preceded in death by her dearly loved mother Laura Wilda Berg, her father, John Roe, and siblings, Gerry (Ben) and Jack Roe, a dear sister in law, Geraldine “Gerri” Berg and brother in law Dee Wadsworth.

Dawna is survived by the love of her life and truly devoted husband and companion, Selvy Tro Trujillo, their children Terry, (Linda) Kimberly, (Herbert) Tory (Karen) and Tony. She’s also survived by her sister Jeannie Wadsworth, Green River Wyoming, a brother Gary Leon Berg, Pocatello along with many nieces & nephews. Her adored grandchildren Lauren, Karlie, Jessie, Douglas, Craig & AJ, and great-grandchildren Jackson Selvy, Aadi, and Nova. They, along with countless friends and relations, carry forward the light of her spirit and the resonance of her kindness in their hearts.

The legacy of Dawna June Trujillo endures beyond her years, woven into the memories and stories that will be retold by those who were graced by her tenderness and spirited elegance. Her family and friends shall carry her spirit forward, reflecting on a life well-lived and a journey completed with dignity and poise while cherishing the countless ways in which she enriched our lives.

The Trujillo family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and profound gratitude for the prayers and support received during this time of reflection and remembrance. Let us all find solace in knowing that Dawna June Trujillo now rests in peace, cradled in the arms of our Lord. May the grace of God be with all who mourn her passing. Amen.
