Her favorite service was as quilt chairman for the Humanitarian Program, she loved making quilts and made many of them for that program.  For the last few years, she served in Relief Society at the Brookdale Senior Living Center.  She thoroughly loved working with and assisting the senior citizens.

Darla loved to travel with her husband on various work projects which gave them the opportunity to visit a number of points of interest.  Some of those being, a weekend on Prince Edward Island, visiting Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, Niagara Falls, and The Mormon Pageant in Palmira, New York.  For their 25th Anniversary Darla and Daryle spent a week in Hawaii.  One other vacation, they followed the Mormon trail from Salt Lake City to Nauvoo Illinois.  Some of the sights they visited were, Mt.
