Danne Glen Carter, 54, born October 1, 1962 in Pocatello Idaho to Walter and Marcia Carter peacefully passed away with family by his side on October 9, 2016.
Danne joined the military at the age of 17 where he proudly served his country. He married his first wife,Nannette, in 1980 and they were later divorced. To that marriage had 1 son, Eric Carter who passed away at 4 months old. He then married Kay in 1982 and had 2 more sons, David and Andrew. They were later divorced. In 1996 he married the love of his life, Teresa Richards and were married for 23 years.
Danne enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, darts, playing pool and reading. He loved books and had a huge collection of them. His favorite thing was time spent on the family farm in McCammon Idaho where he was finally able to move to and enjoyed living there. Danne lived and worked in the Salt Lake area for 24 years where he was an engineer at Utah Fab, Mine and Mill and Dynamic He loved to draw and design. There were always sketch pads and pencils laying around. Later in life he developed a love to RC's and even bought a hobby shop in Pocatello, TnD Hobbies. He got to know many people from the community and developed wonderful friendships with them. He loved the time he was able to spend with his grandkids and was very happy when they moved closer. He will be greatly missed by many.
Danne is preceded in death by his son Eric and both parents. He is survived by Teresa, 2 sons David Carter of North Carolina and Andrew (JoAnna) Carter of McCammon, his 5 grandchildren Dillon, Mason, Kaitlyn, Alivia and Aaron and his brother Alan (Mary) Carter of McCammon. Graveside services will be held Friday October 14, 2016 at 1 o'clock at the Wilford Cemetery in St. Anthony Idaho. We invite all family and friends to be there to honor Danne. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning Wheatley Funeral Chapel in Pocatello, Idaho.
