On January 1, 1990, he married Roxanne Doman in the West Jordan LDS Temple. Dale was a convert to the LDS Church, and served in many callings. Dale enjoyed many years as a Scoutmaster, as this combined his love of the outdoors and his love of working with the youth. His favorite callings have always involved doing missionary work and in 1997-1998, he and his sweetheart, Roxanne, served a mission in Detroit, Michigan. Dale has always enjoyed the outdoors, where he spent many hours hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. Also, traveling and meeting new people have been important in his life. Dale has always felt that money was best spent in traveling and creating memoires. And since family had always been the focal point of his life, he was constantly making the rounds visiting children and stepchildren. Dale is survived by four children from his first wife (Darla Scheer): Warren (Myrna) Burgess, Cheyenne, Wyo., Diane (Kevin) Kesler, Ogden, Utah, Peggy (Mark) Fullmer, Yuba City, California. and Carl (Emily) Burgess, Gilbert, Arizona.
