Chubbuck - Connie Mae Maxwell, 82, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at her home surrounded by her beloved family following a sudden and short fight against cancer.

Connie was born January 17, 1933 in Bancroft, Idaho to Peters Burt Jensen and Johanna Katherine "Katie" Schenks Jensen. She was the youngest of four girls. Connie spent her life in Bancroft until she married.

On December 5, 1954, Connie married Forrest Jacob Maxwell in Bancroft, Idaho. After their wedding, they moved to Pocatello where she lived until moving to Chubbuck to be near her son and family. Forrest and Connie were blessed with two sons, Bradley J. and Burt L. Maxwell. Connie devoted her life to being a wonderful wife to Forrest and a devoted mother to Brad and Burt.

Connie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many positions throughout her life. She was also a member of the Railroad Old Timers Club #15 women's auxiliary. She was also proud to be a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Connie is survived by her sons, Bradley J. Maxwell and his wife Kim of Chubbuck, Idaho and Burt L. Maxwell and his life partner Patrick J. McLaughlin of Salem Oregon, grandson Brett J. Maxwell and his partner Zandra Turnbeaugh and their son Dominic J. Maxwell of Pocatello, Idaho and granddaughter Ashley N. Maxwell of Chubbuck, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest J. Maxwell, her parents, and sisters.

Funeral graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Bancroft Cemetery in Bancroft, Idaho. The family will meet with friends Monday evening Jan. 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
