Carol Ann Sikes

Pocatello - Carol Ann Porter Sikes, 63, passed away Wednesday evening March 7, 2007 at a local hospital following an illness.

She was born on December 7, 1943 to Vincent Porter and Zatel Jorgenson in Portland, Oregon. Her interest and joy was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and having family gatherings, such as camping and family reunions. She was a member of the Central Christian Church.

She is survived by her loving companion and love of her life for the last seventeen years, William (Bill) Reed; Chubbuck, Idaho, by her mother Zatel Porter; Phoenix, Arizona, a son Gary Sikes; Salmon, Idaho, 2 daughters Tamara Sikes and Cassie Sikes both of Seattle,Washington, a brother Jim(Tina) Porter; Phoenix, Arizona, 3 sisters Patty Panopolis; Chubbuck, Idaho, Debbie(Craig) Caudill; Pocatello, Idaho, Jennie Herman (Floyd); Phoenix, Arizona,7 grandchildren Lacie, Nicholas, Vincent,Zachery, Cody, Kinsley, Reiley and one great granddaughter Haylee. She was preceded in death by her father.

There will be a graveside service Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountainview Cemetery. There will be a luncheon following the service for friends and family at 1342 Kiersten Dr.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel 510 N. 12th Ave.
