Carol Jean Lindsey, 80, passed away peacefully at 11:50 am in Pocatello, Idaho on September 21, 2018.  Her last days were spent with close family and friend.

Carol was born July 2, 1938 in Darlington, Idaho to David Lawrence and Verna Louisa (Parris) Cottrell.

She attended school in the Darlington and Mackay, Idaho area.  She married Alma (Red) Rausch and had a daughter named Debra Jean Rausch.  They were later divorced.  She later married Jerry G Lindsey until he passed away.  She spent her final days with her good friend Harold Cornwall.

Carol was a very active and social person.  Throughout her life she loved to go camping, dancing, go to car shows, and motorcycle riding.  She was on several bowling leagues and liked to golf.  Carol liked to play cards and chicken foot.

She is survived by her sisters: Ina Lambert and Shirley Boles (Elmer Newsom); her brothers: Bruce Cottrell (Vickie) and Doyle Cottrell; her daughter: Debbie Rausch; 6 grandchildren: Jessica Cottrell, Derice Edwards, John Edwards, Dennae Edwards, Morgan Edwards, and Bruce Edwards.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sisters Alta Hurst and Dorothy Edwards, 1 brother Glade Cottrell and 1 grandchild Lewis Edwards.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept 29, 2018 at Mt McCaleb Cemetery in Mackay, Idaho.  The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8 pm Friday, Sept 28. 2018 at Manning Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave., Pocatello, Idaho.
