Beverly Wood Bullock passed away on August 29, 2016 after a second heroic battle with cancer. She was born January 1, 1949 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Owen Merrell Wood and Phelma Burniss Peterson. She earned a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Religious Studies from Brigham Young University.
She married Ivan Ray Bullock on October 20, 1972 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They made a home in McCammon, Idaho, where she taught school for 29 years and served in many leadership and teaching positions as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
An energetic woman of great conviction with a love of learning, teaching, traveling and being in nature, she was a devoted wife and mother and a spectacular grandmother. She is adored for her light-hearted nature, zest for living and her easy smile.
She is survived by her husband; her children, Sheraine (Shawn) Bruce of Layton, UT, Roxanne Jamieson of McCammon, ID, Deidre Samuelson of Nampa, ID, Barrett (Liz) Bullock of Moscow, ID and Trevor Bullock of Rexburg, ID; brothers, Charles “Chuck” (Mary) Wood of Ft. Mojave, Arizona and J. Lynn (Janece) Wood of Othello, WA; sisters, Jean (Eli) Krommenhoek of Boise, ID, Etta May (Dale) Eavenson of West Valley City, UT and Geraldine (Andy) Herrera of Sacramento; seventeen grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Owen Woodrow Wood; sister, Sheryl Ybarguen and nephews, Robert Neil Harrah and Marvin Krommenhoek.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the McCammon LDS Stake Center. The family will welcome friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the church and beginning at 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to funeral services. Interment will follow at the Norton Cemetery.
