Beatrice P. Chandler

On May 9, 2013, our Heavenly Father called our mom home. Beatrice P. Chandler passed away at home peacefully holding hands with the love of her life.

Mom was born May 19, 1928 to Charles E. Phillips and Lillie V. Ray. She was the youngest of eleven children. Beatrice spent her childhood in Idaho Falls and Lava Hot Springs, Idaho where she graduated from high school.

She married Samuel D Chandler November 24, 1954 and they were sealed for all eternity June 1971.

She was and will always be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held many positions, influencing the lives of all she touched. She and dad spent seventeen years serving in the Idaho Falls Temple. She lived a Christ like example by losing herself in the service of others.

Along with serving others, she enjoyed fishing, camping, quilting, crocheting, music, and most of all her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings and an infant son.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel D. Chandler, children: Steven (Myla) Chandler, Laurel Maryland, Pam (Darwin) Liljenquist, Pocatello, Sammy (Ken) Johnson, Inkom, Joe Chandler, Inkom, Bill (Cheryl) Chandler, Billings Montana, 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and countless extended family members.
