Barbara Ann Hite

Barbara Ann Hite, a lifelong resident of Pocatello, passed away at the age of 65, of natural causes, after having health issues. She was born on June 7, 1957, to Gerald and Juanita Moore.

Barbara was educated and graduated from Pocatello High School.

She loved everything outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and camping. She loved taking her grandkids camping. Most of the summer, you could find her fishing her favorite spots at the lone tree on the Blackfoot River.

Barbara was employed by the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District #25 as a lunch lady at Century High School for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Hite; her parents, Gerald and Juanita Moore; her brother, Carl Moore; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Floe Hite.

Barbara is survived by a sister, Arlene (Jim) Shilton; brother, Roger Moore; daughter, Sherry (George) Guardipee; son, Nick Hite; in-laws, Sandra T. (John) Kington, Connie (Rod) Robinson, Edward Hite; grandchildren, Hunter and Kelsey Woolen; multiple nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 3:00pm at Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho. There will be a viewing held on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 2:00pm to 2:45pm at Manning Wheatley Funeral Home.
