A. Lynn Hall

McCammon - Arthur Lynn Hall, 81, lifelong resident of McCammon, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening March 18, 2008 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 10, 1927 at home in McCammon, Idaho.

He attended schools in McCammon and graduated from McCammon High School where he participated in basketball and football. On September 4, 1946, he married Thelma Jeanne Green in McCammon. Lynn worked as a carpenter most of his career. He also worked construction and farming in their early years of marriage. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper and camper. He also enjoyed singing. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Thelma Jeanne Hall, McCammon, Idaho; a son, Farrell Lynn Hall, McCammon; 5 daughters, Jackie Hall Neeser, McCammon; Linda Hall (Victor "Nick") Rowe, Shelley, Idaho; Carolyn Hall (George) Egley, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; Suzette Hall Windsor & Mervin Fisher, Blackfoot, Idaho; Bridget Hall (LaVell) Losee, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; a brother, Howard (Janice) Hall, McCammon; a sister-in-law, Cathy Green, McCammon; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Arthur Darwin Hall, 2 brothers, Eldrid Hall and Brent Hall, 4 sisters, Laurene Hall Marley, Lucille Hall Baker, Leola Hall Larsen, Zella Hall Neeser.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the McCammon L.D.S. Stake Center with Bishop Ivan Bullock, of the McCammon Ward officiating. Interment will be in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
